New Head of Sales Trading for Japanese Product Appointed
Equities Japan has appointed Joe
Marchal as Head of Sales Trading for Japanese Products, based in
Tokyo. He took up his position on April 19th 2002 and will report
to Kats Ashizawa and Bob Grohskopf.
Marchal joins Deutsche Bank from Nikko SSB where he
was a Director and Head of International and Domestic Sales Trading.
He has long experience in the Sales & Trading
field. Marchal was a Senior Trader at Fidelity Asset Management
for two years before joining Nikko SSB in 1996. Prior to that he
had been a Managing Director and Head of International Sales Trading
at Daiwa Securities. He obtained a BA in Japanese at Sofia University
and a BSc Chemistry and Biology at the University of Colorado at
Colorado Springs.
