Korean Mid-Cap Tech Conference Attracts High Interest
Following the shift of interest
from the larger cap companies to mid/small cap companies in Korea,
Deutsche Securities Korea arranged a two day conference in Hong
Kong and Singapore to highlight five of Korea's best companies.
In contrast to some of the other conferences held by our competitors,
all five companies were represented by their CEOs. Investor interest
was very high with many of our top clients focusing primarily on
the one-on-one meetings that we arranged separately for each company.
The five companies who gave presentations were PnTel,
Taesan LCD, Intops, Testech, and Raygen. All five companies were
characterized by strong balance sheets with low gearing and strong
business models. These companies are amongst the leading suppliers
of TFT-LCD, semiconductor testing equipment, and mobile handset
related components and are globally competitive.
In particular, this conference offered investors unique
opportunities to interact with the CEOs and top management of the
companies, which added an enormous value to the overcall success
of the event.
Korean Mid-Cap Technology Conference highlighted and
differentiated Deutsche Bank's securities operations in Korea. The
ability to stage such a high quality conference was a value added
service to our investors.
